Mechanical Engineer, Senior

Job Description:

The primary role of the mechanical engineer is tosupport system and subsystem product development. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will workwithin a small multidisciplinary team which engages across many areas of RF andphased array antenna development projects. Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to work with costumerrequirements, architect, perform analysis, develop risk reduction plans, implement,and validate performance at system level. The candidate must also becomfortable in a fast-paced working environment, be a motivated self-starter,an independent learner, and possess a passion for taking on technicalchallenges.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering, MS Degree is a plus 3-5 years of experience defining, developing, and testing system level mechanical designs Passionate about electro-mechanical product design, inventing solutions, and finding better and simpler design approach to accelerate prototyping product Build3D modelsandperform finite element analysis Rapidly prototype mechanical concept Familiar with thermal management design for electronics Experience in modeling using SolidWorks tool Ability to perform first-principles analysis to ensure a successful design (physics, stress-strain, thermal, tolerance, cost and mass optimization, etc.) Experience with FEA, ANSYS preferred Desire to work in a small, dynamic, and fast paced team environment.
