Linux Platform Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled

Linux Platform Engineer

to develop and maintain automation scripts using

Ansible

and

Python , focusing on

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

systems. This remote role involves managing

RHEL OS configurations , automating

RHEL LEAPP upgrades , troubleshooting, and enhancing performance. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay updated on industry trends and security best practices. Responsibilities:

Develop automation scripts with

Ansible

and

Python . Automate

RHEL LEAPP upgrades

and troubleshoot platform issues. Manage

RHEL OS configurations

and improve system performance. Provide

Tier 2 & Tier 3

support and document system procedures. Collaborate with teams to maintain and enhance the Linux platform. Stay updated on

industry trends ,

cybersecurity , and

regulations . Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience with

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) . Expert-level skills in

Python

and

Ansible . Experience in

Linux OS configuration

and

RHEL LEAPP upgrades . Familiarity with

Splunk

or

ELK

(a plus). Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. RHCE

or equivalent certifications are a plus.
