"Job Title Senior PowerBI Developer Relevant Experience (in Yrs) Minimum 6-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics with at least 3 years specifically in PowerBI development Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Power BI Proficiency: • Expertise in creating interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards. • Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service. Data Integration: • bility to connect to a wide range of data sources, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other cloud and on-premises sources. • Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleansing. Azure Services: • Knowledge of integrating Power BI with Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Delta Lake. • Experience with Azure Analysis Services and Azure Synapse Analytics. Security and Data Governance: • Understanding of row-level security (RLS) and other security features in Power BI. • Knowledge of data governance practices and compliance requirements. • Knowledge on NIST standards and guidelines Performance Optimization: • Skills in optimizing Power BI reports for performance, including data load optimization and query performance tuning. Power BI Administration: • Experience with managing Power BI workspaces, datasets, and dataflows. • Understanding of Power BI Premium and its features. Experience Required • Experience in creating complex dashboards and reports • Proven ability to work with large datasets • Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimization Roles & Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements • Optimize and improve existing BI solutions Generic Managerial Skills • bility to lead and mentor junior developers • Excellent project management skills • bility to work under tight deadlines • Strong organizational skills Education • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field • zure certifications (e.g., Azure DA-100, Azure PL-100) or other relevant ones
