The Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for equipment reliability, through timely in-depth troubleshooting, repairs, and PMs.

All equipment at this facility is integrated and automated under the

Siemens

Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) architecture

and it is essential that the candidates have knowledge in this arena. Equipment includes Fillers, Seamers, Pasteurizers, Packers, Palletizers, Conveyors, and Stretch Wrappers.

Performs troubleshooting and repair of facilities and auxiliary equipment, such as Chillers, Air Compressors, Reverse Osmosis systems, Boilers, other water filtration equipment and general maintenance of the plant. Installing new components and calibrating instruments to ensure proper functionality.

Works directly with machine Operators, Supervisors, and Preventative Maintenance Mechanics to resolve technical issues that arise during the shift.

Proposes solutions to complex and reoccurring problems on production equipment, and works with engineers and other professionals to address technical challenges and improve systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings, and testing equipment. Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at the facility Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with DrinkPAK's defined processes Maintained, repaired, and diagnosed issues with Siemens-based industrial control systems. Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner Keep alert for safety issues and escalate immediately May fill in for production operator, as needed Create and report repairs throughout the shift. Complete required work order paperwork and document parts and material usage Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation Responds promptly and honors commitments to internal and external customers Makes recommendations to continuously improve policies, methods, procedures, and/or products Personal Protective Equipment is to be used, where required Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job to ensure equipment and facility uptime. QUALIFICATIONS

Experience or knowledge of Siemens Automation (TIA) architecture is preferred. High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation, or other similar manufacturing-related specialization. A minimum of 5+ years of food/beverage manufacturing experience is required. Beverage filling maintenance experience is preferred. Ability to program temperature controllers, Honeywell controllers, AC inverters, and DC controllers, as well as PLC knowledge. Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties. Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment electrically, hydraulically, pneumatically, electro-mechanical, and mechanically. Ability to install, inspect, repair, and maintain the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other related systems of all production & supporting equipment in a Safe and Secure manner. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments Demonstrates adaptability by reacting appropriately to unexpected changes in situations or circumstances Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Willingness to be a technical leader and trainer within a specific area of the plant or machine center.
