Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join the Collision Mitigation Team - Software and Test. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, and safety systems, with a focus on detection technologies such as cameras, sensors, and ultrasonic systems. However, candidates with strong safety system experience but no prior detection experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain software solutions for collision mitigation systems. Work on HIL testing and automation. Implement test automation using Python. Contribute to software development in C++ (approximately 20% of the role). Integrate and test detection technologies, including cameras, sensors, and ultrasonic systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and safety. Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in C++ for software development. Strong experience with test automation using Python. Hands-on experience with HIL testing. Knowledge of detection systems (cameras, sensors, ultrasonic) is a plus but not mandatory. Experience in safety-critical systems. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Background in automotive or embedded software development. Experience with ADAS or collision mitigation systems. Understanding of control systems and real-time applications.
