Position Overview

As a member of the Annalect Data Science team, your primary responsibility will be to make market research results actionable using industry leading data science methods. The successful candidate will directly work with and support the research team to create new adverting signals to be used in building out advertising audiences. You will work with the rest of the data science team to build new utilities, improve existing solutions and explore a wide variety of datasets.

Responsibilities Utilize a deterministic approach to creating advertising signals from market research. Participate in small sample size machine learning classification projects from data munging and wrangling through model fit, model scoring, model monitoring and maintenance.

Translate quantitative results back into actionable insights and interesting storytelling

Use data management skills to maintain a library of market research data used to develop signals. Library used to mine industry specific insights utilized by clients to develop marketing and advertising strategies. Work with and combine data from multiple event-based media sources (ad servers, DSPs and tag management solutions) and user-based files (client customer data, panel data, 3rd party datasets) warehoused on multiple platforms (AWS Redshift, AWS Athena, and Google Cloud Platform) Hands-on machine learning and statistical modeling Build and maintain tools to process, visualize and analyze data Utilize machine learning and cluster analysis to create audience segmentations Document and sharing knowledge with a wide variety of Annalect and Omnicom teams Education & Experience

3 to 5 years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences or business/marketing related fields. Advanced quantitative degree or intensive bootcamp experience is preferred. Must have hands-on expertise in Python, SQL proficiency preferred as well Experience with cloud computing such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform and others Experience with analytics on servers preferred. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$84,000-$120,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
