Requirements
We are seeking a certified Construction Engineer Level 2 to serve as the primary liaison between contractors and the engineer in observing and monitoring on-site work. This is a PRN (as-needed) position.
As a Construction Engineer 2 at Environmental Design Group you will:
Coordinate inspection of project work Ensure work performed by contractors is in compliance with all state and federal specifications Correlate and analyze field data, review plans and records, support and prepare change orders Assist with dispute resolution, estimates, conduct progress meetings, prepare meeting minutes and other related duties Finalize or assist with finalizing and closing out the project Perform data entry into ODOT's CMS/SITE MANAGER system or local documentation equivalent as directed by the project engineer or LPA person in responsible Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Requirements: Professional Engineers (PE) License in Ohio and ODOT Construction Engineer 2 (CE2) credential. Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and computer-aided design
