Develops and manages energy control software for cat engine and electrification products for Cat. This is a developer position. As an Embedded Energy Software Engineer, you will develop embedded software for electronics control systems supporting diesel engine programs and electrification programs. Areas of responsibility include the development of embedded software features in the C programming language and Matlab/Simulink to meet system requirements. Degree:

Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineer, Computer Science degrees or related

Requirements:

3 years of exp in an embedded environment

2 years embedded c programming

Experience with GIT, Clearcase, Trace 32 Debuggers, CAN Tools

Experience working with and troubleshooting electrical systems

Knowledge of diesel engine control and operations

CAN/SAE J1939

Prior work experience with engine or machine software development

Scripting in Python

Nice to Have:

Cat exp is a bonus

Diesel engine controls
