A nonprofit community services organization in New York City is currently seeking a new Licensed Master Social Worker for a promising opportunity with their Family with Children shelter program.

Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays Hours:
Flexible, shifts vary from 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, or 10am-6pm. Setting:
5 Days (onsite) Patient Population:

Electronic State System Connections Responsibilities:
The Licensed Master Social Worker will be responsible for:
Provides clinical guidance and training to staff. Completes assessments and screenings. Conducts case conferences and resolves issues. Constructs service plans and documentation; ensures compliance. Collaborates with ACS on child welfare cases. Provides psychoeducation to families; meets quarterly. Conducts self-audits of records. Participates in staff meetings. Serves on incident reporting committee. Conducts assessments and crisis intervention; may offer short-term counseling. Makes referrals and linkages. Holds participant groups and workshops. Acts as on-site liaison. Develops community resource relationships. Assists with duties assigned by Shelter Director or Team Leader. Adheres to confidentiality protocols. Represents mission and values; upholds policies. Promotes social justice and equity. Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the field of social services. Working knowledge of issues related to or experience working with families, homelessness, HIV, substance abuse, mental illness, entitlements and domestic violence Desired Skills:
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
