Position Summary:

Under Close supervision, The Assembler Trainee, assembles medical accessories consisting of Assemblies and subassemblies containing plastic and machined components using various handheld and power equipment to blueprint specifications. Performs simple testing and troubleshooting.

Duties: Perform visual inspection of raw materials and or production assemblies, to meet quality standards. Utilize blueprints to set-up each build in accordance to work orders. Perform assembly of components that consist of machined and purchased parts. Perform simple leak and assembly test per work instructions and minor troubleshooting. Partner with Trainer when necessary while troubleshooting. Verify assembly is in compliance with quality standards prior to submitting to the trainer. Comply with all FDA and ISO9001, and ISO 13485 guidelines. Maintain clean, safe, organized work area - sustains process improvements that have been implemented into their respective areas. Actively participate in Continuous Improvement (examples: line side ideas, kaizens, and projects) Assist and facilitate assemblies with other Assemblers as needed. Cross train in other departments as needed. Perform other job duties as required by Supervision. Required Education/ Degree

Required Experience

1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and or assembly experience. Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to use hand and power tools Attention to detail and ability to interpret written instructions Good communication skills (Written and verbal) when working with others
