The

Strategic

Supply Chain Scheduler

plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the flow of materials, components, and production timelines to ensure seamless manufacturing and delivery. The position will ensure products make it to market on time. Their work directly impacts product cost, quality, and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning : Coordinate schedules for manufacturing microelectronic components and ceramic substrates, ensuring alignment with customer demand and capacity. Define and setup EPICOR for MRP changes and planning and scheduling parameters. Analyze historical data, company trends, and customer orders to predict future demand. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like on-time delivery, quality standards, capacity utilization and production efficiency. Use data analysis to identify trends, optimize processes, and drive the team to solve supply chain challenges.

Material Coordination : Manage procurement and timely delivery of raw materials like alumina ceramics, metals, and specialty chemicals used in substrates.

Inventory Optimization : Balance stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock, especially for high-precision materials with long lead times. Work closely with procurement and vendors to ensure and replenish inventory as needed, based on data from customer stock levels, usage rates, and forecasts for timely delivery of materials. Analyze customer inventory data to predict trends and adjust reorder levels accordingly. Set up and monitor safety stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstock situations based on forecast and build plans.

Supplier Collaboration : Work closely with global and domestic suppliers to mitigate risks from delays, especially in a supply chain sensitive to geopolitical and economic shifts. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and sales department as the primary liason for delivery schedule. Proactively collaborate between sales, procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. Analyze customer inventory data to predict trends and adjust reorder levels accordingly. Set up and monitor safety stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts or overstock situations based on forecast and build plans.

Process Synchronization : Align Laser machining, trimming, marking, and post-processing steps with production schedules to maintain throughput and quality.

Qualifications:

5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Scheduler in Microelectronics / Ceramic Substrate Industry.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain engineering, engineering, or similar degree

Supply Chain. Purchasing Certification .

Proficient use of excel and word required.

Strong analytical skills to assess inventory levels, demand patterns, and sales forecasts.

Demonstrated knowledge of inventory practices, such as JIT (Just-In-Time) and lean principles.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with customers and suppliers.

Advanced knowledge and proficiency with EPICOR supply chain management software (e.g., ERP, MRP, VMI tools).
