We are seeking a detail-oriented
QC Inspector
to support the Quality Control Department and all manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality and conformity to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming inspections on jobs to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
Follow and uphold company policies and operational procedures.
Provide daily quality support for production teams.
Compile, input, and maintain quality data records.
Communicate scrap reports to department supervisors and production managers for real-time feedback.
Develop and maintain inspection proficiencies.
Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and customer-supplied data.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and make informed decisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Self-motivated team player with excellent time management skills.
Specialized knowledge in quality control or manufacturing is a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Frequent movement through manufacturing areas.
Ability to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, squat, and lay as needed to perform tasks.
Requires strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina.
Potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
Moderate noise level in the work environment.
