POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile IT Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize a broad array of IT infrastructure and systems across our organization. This role will provide technical expertise across areas such as network administration, user support, system security, and virtualization. The ideal candidate brings proactive problem-solving, technical proficiency, and collaborative spirit to support business operations at the Factory, Retail, and Franchising levels.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning and deprovisioning accounts across IT systems.
2. Provide helpdesk support across all tiers (L1-L3), diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly and professionally.
3. Monitor and manage IT support queues, ensuring timely issue resolution and end-user satisfaction.
4. Administer and maintain phone systems (VoIP platforms), including setup, troubleshooting, and vendor management.
5. Configure and maintain virtual environments (e.g., VMware or Hyper-V), ensuring performance and reliability.
6. Oversee data center infrastructure, including backups, environmental controls, and uptime assurance.
7. Manage Microsoft 365 and hybrid Active Directory environments, including Exchange and Intune.
8. Coordinate with IT vendors for support escalations, service renewals, and hardware/software procurement.
9. Prepare and deploy computer equipment for new hires and hardware refreshes, including imaging and MDM configuration.
10. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (e.g., switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems).
11. Conduct regular vulnerability reviews and assist in implementing remediation strategies.
12. Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records.
13. Support Mobile Device Management using Microsoft Intune and related systems.
14. Administer ERP permissions and user roles, supporting access requests and user training.
15. Monitor and manage email security systems, including quarantines and spam filtering.
16. Maintain and troubleshoot door access control systems, ensuring physical security protocols are followed.
17. Collaborate across departments to understand and address IT needs for various business units.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
3. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory (on-prem and hybrid), and Microsoft Intune.
4. Experience with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V or VMware).
5. Hands-on experience with network systems and protocols (switches, firewalls, VPNs).
6. Proven track record supporting users in a multi-departmental environment.
7. Experience using IT ticketing and asset management systems.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support users of all technical levels.
