Job Description:
We provide system development and full spectrum IT support services U.S. Federal client in DC Metro Area. The project needs a
Business Analyst
to support the development of Web-based applications in a .NET, MVC, Oracle, and Windows environment. Work in a team environment to support a software system which is is continually evolving - modernized and enhanced.
Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to solicit/refine/document requirements. Work with the technical staff to decompose requirements into User Stories in an Agile Scrum environment. The Business Analyst will also assist in translating requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) and participate in testing.
Job Responsibilities:
• Elicit requirements using interviews and discovery sessions, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, business analysis, and workflow analysis.
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously - multi-tasking
• Work independently with users to define concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Participates in desk checks and testing
• Develop the following artifacts as needed: Functional requirements, Business Requirements, and Screen design mockups, functional breakdown structures, workflow diagrams, process diagrams
• Decompose requirements following Agile Scrum approach to create Epics, Features, and User stories
• Write technical and user guide documentation

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Mandatory Skills
At least 3 years of leading requirements gathering discussions with different stakeholder groups
At least 3 years of Requirements Documentation - Concept of Operations, functional reqs, requirements specs, etc
3+ years of MS Office
1+ years of developing diagrams and drawings -functional breakdown structures, workflow diagrams, process diagrams
1 - 3 years of Requirements gathering and managing using a tool (MS DevOps preferred)
Preferred Skills
Developing User Stories in an Agile Scrum environment - decomposing requirements
Developing Test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Developing full SDLC documentation
Clearance requirements :
Candidates
must be able to obtain and maintain
a
Secret DoD security
clearance.
An active clearance is preferred; however, an Interim clearance is acceptable for starting the position.
Work Schedule:
This position
requires
a
hybrid work schedule,
currently with
two days per week onsite . Onsite requirements are subject to change at the
discretion of our U.S. Government client.
