The Team Join our dynamic Asset Management Risk team, where we empower management and business units by proactively identifying and monitoring risks to safeguard the interests of the firm, clients, and associates. Our mission is to enhance controls and processes through a robust framework of risk identification, analysis, aggregation, and reporting. The Expertise and Skills You Have 3-5 years of relevant experience in the crypto industry, management consulting, asset management, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking. Deep understanding of blockchain technology and digital assets, along with their technical foundations. Proficient in data analysis techniques and visualization tools, such as Tableau. Extensive experience in project management. Familiarity with SQL and Python is a plus. Bachelor's degree is required. CFA and/or FRM certifications are beneficial. Strong analytical skills with proven experience in querying and assessing large datasets. Adept at working independently to achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment. Ability to adapt to changing business priorities effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Competent in creating executive-level presentations and data visualizations. Exceptional relationship management skills with a focus on customer service. Collaborative team player, skilled in developing and maintaining relationships across departments. Capacity to influence and partner with various areas within Fidelity. The Role As the Senior Risk Manager for Asset Management, you will oversee risk for Digital Assets, Equity, High Income, Fixed Income, Managed Accounts, and Asset Allocation Investment Teams, specifically focusing on blockchain and cryptocurrency initiatives. You will be responsible for collecting industry data, analyzing market trends, evaluating internal processes, and designing tools to measure operational risks. Additionally, you will formulate strategies to mitigate risks that could impact Fidelity, our clients, or associates. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough analyses of end-to-end processes, assessing related data and controls to identify possible risks, performing targeted data-driven risk assessments, and creating risk management reports utilizing data visualization tools. Work Environment Fidelity embraces a hybrid working model that combines the advantages of onsite and offsite work experiences, recognizing the importance of being present in the office for our business strategy and culture. Most hybrid roles involve working onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) at a Fidelity office.
