MUCSD 1 is seeking a Robotics Team Sponsor for the 2025-2026 school year.
Essential Job Functions and Key
Responsibilities: Guide team members through the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) process Have technical expertise with robot design, programming, and troubleshooting Foster teamwork and collaboration Promote FLL Core Values and Gracious Professionalism Provide guidance and support for the innovation project Support students with design, build, and programming of the robot Prepare the team for competition (regionals take place on Saturday or Sunday in December and sectionals are in January) Meet weekly after school (or as often as needed) with the team to prepare for the competitions. Terms of Employment:
Robotics Team Sponsor This position is a stipend per the MEA Teacher's Contract at a Category 2 position, ranging from $419-$628
