Purpose/Objective of the Role:
Provide technical support and assistance to the campus community and front office support for Information Services.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Greeting walk-ins Answering the phone Responding to chat Handling tickets in BishopWorks Other duties include: Updating the Help Desk website and the BishopWorks Knowledge Base Assisting with Media Services loans, and other projects as they arise Qualifications:
Customer service is paramount Good communication, both written and oral, is essential Initiative and ability to work independently is good Computer knowledge and troubleshooting is nice and can be taught Potential Future Career Benefit:
Customer service Communication Task management are transferrable to any field and occupation There's also valuable exposure to systems and practices specific to the IT industry
