This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader who thrives in high-impact, cross-functional environments and possesses a deep understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and Agile delivery methodologies.As the central point of coordination across engineering, architecture, QA, business, and vendor teams, you will ensure timely, high-quality delivery of complex projects that align with enterprise priorities. You will also own project intake, planning, execution, and reporting-bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to a growing portfolio of data-driven innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage complex cross-functional Data and BI projects from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and measurable outcomes.Provide executive-level oversight to Agile delivery squads, ensuring strong coordination across architecture, data engineering, testing, operations, and business stakeholders.Translate high-level business goals into actionable plans with clear milestones, KPIs, and delivery roadmaps.Manage the end-to-end SDLC for multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing resources, timelines, and priorities in a matrixed organization.Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospectives, with a strong focus on delivery velocity, transparency, and team empowerment.Own the intake, prioritization, and governance process for the Data and BI portfolio, working with enterprise leaders to align work with strategic goals.Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies across programs, and implement mitigation strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.Act as a liaison between technical teams, business leaders, and third-party vendors, ensuring project alignment on scope, timeline, quality, and value realization.Provide executive-level project reporting including health dashboards, financial updates, risk logs, and delivery KPIs to sponsors and governance bodies.Manage vendor relationships and contract deliverables, holding external partners accountable for quality, timeline, and performance commitments.Champion process improvement, Agile best practices, and DevOps/automation where possible to modernize delivery.Drive operational excellence by integrating project planning with enterprise Agile PMO tools and standards.Maintain stakeholder alignment and confidence through demos, regular updates, leadership briefings, and clear documentation.Required Qualifications10+ years of progressive experience in technical project management, with at least 5 years managing enterprise-scale data or analytics initiatives.Strong domain expertise in data ecosystems, including data pipelines, ETL/ELT, cloud data platforms, BI/reporting tools, and data governance frameworks.Proven success managing cross-functional and cross-regional project teams, including offshore/nearshore delivery models.Demonstrated experience leading projects within both Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and traditional Waterfall frameworks.Expertise with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and other Agile/PMO platforms.Advanced project financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and ROI analysis.Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentation delivery.Experience managing vendor engagements, contracts, and third-party SLAs.Ability to operate autonomously in high-pressure environments and drive decision-making in ambiguous contexts.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience leading projects within a Data & Analytics COE, enterprise data warehouse modernization, or BI platform rollout.PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent project management certifications highly preferred.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data tools (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks, Informatica, etc.) is a strong plus.Demonstrated success in roles requiring executive-level engagement and business alignment for data transformation programs.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related technical field.Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.Technical SkillsMicrosoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Project Management: JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, AsanaBI/Data Tools (preferred exposure): Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, Informatica, etc.BenefitsVisit us at http://alignity.io/careers.
