is seeking a
Senior Project Engineer
to join its growing
Geotechnical team
in
Chantilly, VA . This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of projects in the Northern Virginia region and collaborate with a respected network of professionals across multiple disciplines including geostructural engineering, environmental consulting, construction materials testing, and special inspections.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as Special Inspection Engineer of Record for projects across Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Loudoun, Falls Church, and Prince William counties. Provide geotechnical and technical support to Construction Materials Testing project managers. Conduct site visits, attend progress meetings, and prepare technical reports and field documentation. Assist in proposal preparation, cost estimating, and developing specifications and plans. Support geotechnical and cross-functional departments as needed. Maintain high standards of service, quality, and client satisfaction. Uphold and promote company and site safety protocols. Requirements:
S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (M.S. preferred) Minimum 10 years' experience in geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing E. License Required: Familiarity with Northern Virginia special inspection programs Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally and regionally Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied field conditions
