About the Opportunity
Talent Depot is seeking an experienced
Linux System Administrator
to support critical operations for the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. This is an opportunity to join a mission-driven, employee-owned company specializing in advanced signal processing applications and national defense solutions.
In this role, you'll work with Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, and containerized environments to ensure high system availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities Administer and support Linux-based environments (RHEL, Rocky Linux) Deploy and manage Docker containers and AWS cloud services Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot software and hardware systems Conduct user management, system permissions, and access control Perform regular system monitoring, vulnerability scans, and compliance checks Maintain network file systems and system integrity Collaborate with internal and remote teams to resolve technical issues Follow supervisor guidance while independently addressing technical concerns Contribute to mission operations with flexibility and initiative Requirements Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent professional experience 5-15 years of experience in Linux system administration Active
TS/SCI
clearance (must meet eligibility for classified work) CompTIA
Security+
certification (or equivalent DoD 8570 compliance) Advanced experience with Linux systems (RHEL, Rocky), AWS, and Docker Strong understanding of networking, troubleshooting, and cloud computing Excellent analytical skills and customer service orientation U.S. citizenship required
