Join our team and be a part of a 38-year legacy that continues to serve the Southern Region of Texas!Job SummaryThe Junior Business Analyst supports operational and financial performance across Maldonado Nursery & Landscaping's Commercial Landscape Maintenance division. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to maintenance contracts, irrigation services, and enhancement project execution. The role provides analytical insights that help improve efficiency, job costing accuracy, and resource planning. This is a cross-functional support role that works closely with operations, irrigation supervisors, enhancement managers, and administrative staff.Data Analysis and ReportingAnalyze data related to crew productivity, job costs, labor hours, materials, and equipment usage across maintenance, irrigation, and enhancement work.Assist with preparing and maintaining dashboards and reports for key performance indicators (KPIs) such as route efficiency, contract margins, response time, and completion rates.Monitor budget vs. actuals and support variance analysis for branch-level operations.Operational Process SupportParticipate in documenting current workflows related to service dispatching, work order management, irrigation ticket handling, and enhancement approvals.Identify inefficiencies and assist in the development and rollout of process improvements in coordination with field managers.Support the implementation and upkeep of standardized templates and processes in Aspire or other internal systems.Project and Enhancement TrackingTrack progress, budgets, and completion of enhancement projects and irrigation service tickets.Verify that change orders, work orders, and client approvals are documented and reflected in job cost tracking.Assist with scheduling analysis and backlog management for planned enhancement work.Collaboration and CommunicationCollaborate with branch managers, business developers, irrigation leads, and enhancement foremen to understand operational challenges and identify areas for improvement.Translate analytical findings into clear summaries or visualizations for non-technical team members.Assist in preparation of monthly or quarterly branch performance reviews and meetings.Qualifications RequiredBachelor's degree in Data Analytics0-2 years of relevant experience in a business analyst, project coordinator, or operations support roleInternships in landscape services, construction, or field service industries are a plus
