Hospitality Manager (Luxury Automotive Client)EXPERIENCE: Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs. ***Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be flexible with a priority given to candidates open to hybrid work (3 days week in office) in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA or Atlanta, GA.***We are seeking a Hospitality Manager to lead the planning and execution of hospitality programs hosted by a luxury automotive brand for their invited guests! This role is part of a larger team that manages the client's many partnerships across the golf industry, including title sponsorship of a PGA TOUR event, strategic media partners, and brand activations with other golf-related entities.The Hospitality Manager will work closely with the Experiential Director to position the client's brand as best-in-class within the sport. The ideal candidate will have experience with premium hospitality programs including food & beverage, hotel accommodations, transportation and gifting.THE WORK YOU'LL DOCollaborate with third-party vendors to manage the interior buildout and branding of Hospitality Venues at professional golf eventsManage hotel accommodations for the client's programs including hotel selection, negotiation, contracting, and block managementLead all aspects of food & beverage programs for the client's golf programs in collaboration with the client's third-party food & beverage consultantsDevelop and lead transportation plans for the client's golf events with support from the Senior Event ExecutiveServe as the VIP hosting lead for all programs, managing itineraries of executives, KOLs/influencers and VIP guestsManage and track program budgets to ensure client goals are achieved and programs are within budgetServe as the day-to-day point of contact with key vendors retained by the clientUse problem-solving skills to address client challenges with impactful solutionsServe as a trusted and reliable agency contact for clients, internal colleagues, and brand partnersSupervision of the Senior Event Executive, temporary staff, and trainee positionsTHE BIGGER TEAM YOU'LL JOINRecognized as one of the "Best Places to Work in Sports", in global sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing arm of the Interpublic Group.We take pride in being Playmakers - finding insightful, bold ways to create play in our work, our lives, and in the world. Are you a Playmaker?WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR4-6 years of marketing, sponsorship, and hospitality programming experienceAn eye for design and décor to develop spaces that convey a premium look and feel, consistent with the client's Corporate Identity guidelinesExcellent organizational skills to effectively prioritize multiple projects at onceAcute attention to detail is necessary to implement events to the client's exacting standardsExperience with professional/amateur golfEagerness to make an overall account contribution and collaborate within a larger program and account teamExcellent communication, writing, and client service skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointFlexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel level: Moderate (20-45%)ReliableTrustworthyLoyalTeam PlayerThe base range for this position is $60,000 - 65,000.
