Position Summary

We are seeking a technically adept and proactive Engineer of Endpoint Vulnerability Management to lead the identification, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities across enterprise endpoint environments. This role focuses on securing operating systems, enterprise applications, and third-party software deployed across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. The ideal candidate will drive remediation efforts in collaboration with IT, security, and application teams to reduce endpoint risk and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Competencies: Deep understanding of endpoint OS platforms and enterprise application ecosystems. Expertise in patch management, software deployment, and configuration baselines. Strong communication and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams. High attention to detail and ability to manage remediation timelines. Responsibilities

Execute and ensure effectiveness of vulnerability remediation activities for endpoint OS, enterprise applications, and associated third-party software. As needed, contribute to other vulnerability remediation activities in coordination with Cyber Security and other technology teams. Follow all applicable change management policies and procedures, and ensure optimal and minimal impact on business operations, services, systems, or end-user experience. Coordinate all vulnerability remediation activities with other technology teams, assuring alignment and optimal effectiveness and impact. Help update, communicate or negotiate risk levels, remediation timelines, and exception handling for assigned vulnerabilities. Ensure assigned endpoint vulnerability management process aligns with all applicable ECUH Cyber Security standards and policies Generate actionable reports for IT and security leadership, highlighting effectiveness and outcomes, helping define or communicate risk posture, process gaps and trends. Deploy OS and application patches using only approved tools and services Use automation to improve effectiveness of vulnerability mitigation steps, including deployments via approved automation tools, Group Policy, PowerShell, Python, or Bash Stay informed of emerging threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and evolving attack vectors. Minimum Requirements

A bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity & 2 years of experience OR

High school diploma or higher with 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, System Administration, or Cybersecurity roles with bachelors degree preferred Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Powershell, Bash) Demonstrated mastery of vulnerability scanning and management platforms (eg, SCCM, InTune, CrowdStrike).
