MEPPI's Service Center Division (SCD) is looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused
Technical Support Specialist II
to deliver high-level system support and technical troubleshooting for our advanced electrical products. In this role, you'll conduct system analysis, support field investigations, and provide expert guidance to both internal teams and external customers, ensuring operational continuity across industries that rely on MEPPI's power solutions.
What You'll Do:
Be the Go-To Expert: Provide advanced technical support for MEPPI products at the system and facility level, serving internal teams, authorized service providers (ASPs), and end users.
Resolve with Precision: Track and resolve field incident tasks in collaboration with operating divisions. Support RCA (Root Cause Analysis) investigations and address quality assurance issues.
Turn Data into Action: Compile and analyze data to identify failure trends, escalate critical issues, and recommend design changes. Deliver clear reports for both internal and external audiences.
Keep the Field Informed: Create and distribute technical updates and troubleshooting documents to MEPPI personnel, ASPs, and end users. Ensure quality compliance through accurate record-keeping.
Support Smarter Systems: Provide technical assistance for remote monitoring software associated with MEPPI products. Maintain software databases and version controls while addressing vendor and customer issues.
Work Across Borders: Act as a liaison with MEPPI expatriates and global equipment divisions to coordinate technical solutions and product support.
Bring It All Together: Develop technical communications such as reports, memos, and presentations. Assist with site testing and deliver customer-facing technical presentations when needed.
Advance Technical Processes: Collaborate on the development and refinement of technical support procedures that enhance service delivery and consistency.
What You Bring:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience providing technical and/or field support for complex products and systems-or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills: Strong knowledge of product design, remote monitoring, and system integration. Advanced expertise in field acceptance testing, data analysis, test reports, and troubleshooting tools. Familiarity with relevant standards such as UL, NEC, and IEC. Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with customers and internal teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems. What's in It for You?
