Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support the Data Analytics Team in Baltimore County. The role is currently full-time remote, with the possibility of transitioning to hybrid or fully onsite work at the Baltimore County worksite. The ideal candidate is a Baltimore resident with at least 5 years of relevant project management or related experience and holds a bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business/Public Administration, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, lead, and control the Data Analytics Team's projects and office work. Meet with senior management to establish office priorities and delegate project tasks. Track project performance metrics to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards. Coordinate and oversee all Data Warehouse (DW) projects, both major and minor, to comply with priorities, timelines, scope, and budget. Lead daily standup meetings with the team to monitor progress, resolve roadblocks, and manage work queues. Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, facilitating status updates, timelines, and requirement discussions, including leading large group meetings. Develop, maintain, and enforce policies and procedures relevant to the Data Analytics function. Serve as a member of the Data Governance Committee, providing subject matter expertise. Create and deliver presentations representing Data Analytics work to both internal and external audiences. Provide technical leadership by mentoring, designing solutions, leading design review sessions, and resolving roadblocks to ensure standards are met and solutions are scalable. Monitor and report on team performance metrics. Flexibly support additional roles such as Quality Assurance Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, and Data Warehouse Developer as needed. Build and maintain productive relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, technical staff, vendors, and end users. Coordinate and perform unit, system, and performance testing; participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and issue resolution. Engage in continuous improvement activities by assessing process effectiveness and developing enhancement strategies. Regularly produce status reports and communications for senior management. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business or Public Administration, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, business analysis, change management, systems analysis, or closely related roles involving IT systems analysis and organizational processes. Thorough knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles. Experience planning, developing, implementing, and supporting computer information systems and programs; experience in Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse environments preferred but not required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to coordinate team efforts with other units within Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS). Skilled in developing administrative reports such as status reports, project roadmaps, and plans. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project. Experience in K-12 education settings preferred but not required. Key Skills:
