Job Summary:
The Systems Engineer II for Engineering Applications is responsible for supporting Crane Aerospace & Electronics' applications used by engineering of all disciplines. In addition, designs, develops, supports, and maintains the organization's product life cycle management systems, infrastructure planning, workflow development/validation, process development, and production support.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for ensuring uptime of critical engineering applications systems and infrastructure through monitoring and timely remediation
Work closely with customers / business process owners to understand the functional requirements. Translate functional requirements into specific PLM solutions, applications or process designs.
Configure, Customize & Build solutions on PLM platforms including Teamcenter/Agile PLM/Windchill/IBM Rational Tools/Solidworks EPDM to meet business process and customer requirements
Preserves data assets by supporting disaster recovery and back-up procedures
Ensures adherence to all regulatory compliance processes and requirements, including but not limited to DFARS, ITAR and like regulations
Provides on demand COTS applications support by resolving service requests for purchase, installation, troubleshooting, or user access
Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing process/workflow automation
Supports engineering and information technology strategies, policies, and procedures
Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
2-4 years of experience as an Applications Systems Engineer or PLM Engineer in a fast-paced design-focused environment
Experience working in a technical environment
Experience with systems/data/Windows server administration
Experience with Database administration
Experience within the PLM/CAD/CAM industry
Education/Certification:
BS degree in computer-oriented technical discipline
Knowledge:
Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and product design cycles. Hands on experience with Teamcenter or other PLM Product Configuration and Customization preferred
Knowledge of the PLM/CAD/CAM industry preferred
Knowledge of PLM Data Model and Configuration aspects
Knowledge of ERP to PLM integration aspects
Skills/Abilities:
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to complete job requirements within time constraints
Ability to work effectively in an individual or team environment
Must be self-motivated and directed
Eligibility Requirement:
This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

PLM experience with TeamOne/Teamcenter
Experience working in a technical environment, supporting manufacturing/electronics/engineering
Working Conditions:
Standard office environment
Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
Standing: 10% *percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task

Salary range: $97,427.20 to $121,825.60.
Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
