Job Description Job Title: Social Worker Profession: Social Worker Specialty: Social Worker Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM with possible Nights and Weekends, On-Call As Needed) Experience: Minimum one to two years in delivery of direct clinical services in a behavioral health setting. License: Graduate Clinical Licensure in District of Columbia (LGPC/LPC) required. Certifications: None specified. Must-Have: - Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline from an accredited graduate school. - Some experience in treatment of substance use and trauma conditions. - Superior verbal and written communication skills. - Knowledge of hospital systems, including intake/admission procedures. - Experience working with third party payers preferred, but not required. - Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospital work preferred.
Description: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline from an accredited graduate school is required. A Graduate Clinical Licensure in District of Columbia (LGPC/LPC) is required. Minimum one to two years of experience in delivery of direct clinical services in a behavioral health setting is required. Some portion of the experience must have included treatment of substance use and trauma conditions. Superior verbal and written communication skills are essential. Knowledge of hospital systems, including intake/admission procedures, is expected. Experience working with third party payers is preferred, but not required. Experience in outpatient, inpatient, and partial hospital work is preferred.
