About Our Client
Client has 30+ years in the industry and is a privately held National Leading and Top ENR General Contractor dedicated to provide multiple services including construction to the light industrial, life sciences and food & beverage industries. Size of projects $50MM+ across the US. They are sitting at $850MM revenue and have secured various projects through 2028.
Job Description
Reviewing and verifying constructability of the plans and specifications. Creating and enforcing a construction schedule that is tracked and updated daily with a constant monthly look ahead to ensure timely completion of the project. Initial project estimates and bidding and qualifying subcontractors Preparing scopes of work and recommending subcontractors to be selected for contracting on the construction of the project. Sending out invitations to bid and managing the bidding process. Negotiating scopes of work and final contract amounts, preparing, estimating and verifying change order requests Responding to RFI's or submittals and responding to subcontractor or consultants project related questions. Directing and managing each of the Superintendents and Project Engineers to maintain the performance of subcontractors and consultants on-site. Implementation of strict construction safety practices Verify compliance with the plans and specifications, hosting weekly and monthly jobsite meetings as well as managing and conducting other duties necessary for the successful completion of the projects. Review monthly subcontractor invoices Attend monthly budget draw meetings, and cost to complete Responsible for the direction and performance of consulting, design or construction management services for assigned project(s) of a nature greater in scope, valuation and complexity and with larger teams than those generally managed by the Project Manager Client relationship management, including creating a positive experience that will lead to future work MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry Comfortable traveling 50% across the U.S Experience overseeing light industrial structures including life sciences, food & beverage manufacturing facilities, large complex light industrial projects Comfortable managing $80MM+ projects Bachelor's degree Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalen Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Team-oriented individual capable of leading and managing large teams including subcontractors Intermediate understanding of all core engineering disciplines, project execution, delivery in a design and construction What's on Offer
Base salary: $120,000 - $180,000 + great benefits (Package is negotiable subject to experience) Per diem Health, vision, dental insurance 401k Bonuses
