About The Role Responsible for all configuration/design and customization development and integrations of the Credit Unions multiple loan origination (LOS) and other critical lending systems for consumer, residential and commercial lending programs. The main objective is to guide lending areas on how to maximize efficiency, ensure compliance, while maintaining data integrity. Responsible for managing a diverse range of functions and tasks, including future release schedules, change control, requirement gathering, system optimization, request prioritization, and timely communication with multiple business lines. This role is deeply collaborative with the lending teams and all cross functional end users to develop solutions and improve business performance. RESPONSIBILITIES Act as liaison for cross-functional departments including, IT, accounting, marketing, compliance/risk, branch, and all other member-facing operations. Configure and manage views and dashboards for department leaders and end users to better manage the pipelines, workflows, loan queues, document folders, and loan templates. Coordinates with lending software vendors to help maintain current versions of supported loan programs and credit union policy standards. Create test scripts for all process, implementation and prescribed system enhancements; Ensure all lending related systems are up-to-date and functioning as expected with regular audit diligence. Ensure issues arising from testing or implementation are escalated and resolved appropriately in an efficient and timely manner and that issues, incidents and questions are documented and reported as required. Lead aspects of analysis and maintenance, documentation and testing for ancillary loan systems including third party platforms. Maintain and audit business rules for data entry, workflow progression, and regulatory compliance as requested by business groups. Maintain knowledge of the credit unions lending products, processes, services, to support broad organizational perspective relative to job duties. Maintain master list of users roles and profiles, security and access settings across all ancillary loan systems including third party systems. Maintains a working knowledge of all end-user functional roles and responsibilities as they relate to loan system usage. Manage system updates/upgrades. Perform analysis of various datapoints to identify trends, provide information about potential issues, and recommend improvements for greater efficiency and/or effectiveness. Recommends and implements techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, utilize system capabilities, and maintain best practices. Develop and document operational procedures to support improved products, processes, tools and measurements. Responsible for the administration of all ancillary internal systems and third-party lending systems including collections modules, indirect dealer interfaces, as well as internal workflow systems/tools. Responsible for the development of custom forms, custom input forms, writing and maintaining business rules. Review loan system release notes, forward to appropriate departments, and manage system updates/upgrades. Solve business problems (brought forth by others and uncovered by access in role) by applying specific knowledge of the business needs combined with knowledge of the systems technology capabilities with the primary objective being to meet the information needs of the business owner(s). Take critical role in problem analysis, initiate corrective actions and resolution and ensures status updates are provided to those impacted. Track and report system issues, defects, and failures. Contact necessary vendor partners for resolution. REQUIREMENTS College Degree or certification in a Computer Software Systems field is preferred, or combination of education and work experience in business, finance and/or technology 5+ years experience in a loan systems administration/analyst role. Prior admin experience with Encompass or Ncino LOS platforms preferred. 3+ years of project management experience 3+ years experience in lending/banking/financial services Experience with process design and communication, requirements definition, and training in support of loan origination and servicing systems and Business Lines. Working knowledge of business systems and applications, incident and change management, project and systems management. Well-developed analytical skills and highly effective project and time management skills. Ability to conduct needs assessments, identify problems, develop solutions and take appropriate course of action. Must possess the ability to work independently and with teams of varying sizes; able to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and regulations related to consumer loan origination and servicing activities. Familiarity with lending laws such as Reg Z., TRID, HMDA, Reg. B, and other applicable regulations. Knowledge of the consumer loan process, documentation; government and investor requirements and terminology; develop clear and well-structured business requirement documents Self-motivated and willingness to maintain up-to-date knowledge with current and emerging technologies Formal knowledge of process improvement methods, tools and best practices. COMPENSATION $85,000 - 96,000/ year Eligible for back office incentives.
