This position involves providing engineering design and support for security solutions for new and existing clients, collaborating with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success. Responsibilities
Understand standard electronic security technologies (ACS, IDS, FDS, CCTV) and supporting equipment such as software, hardware, databases, and networking infrastructure. Review architectural, electrical, telecommunication, security engineering plans, riser diagrams, device schedules, and detail drawings. Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and conversions. Review Field Site Survey documentation and assist with RFI/RFP responses. Create solution design documentation including drawings, BOMs, and summaries. Provide technical support to in-office and on-site team members. Assist management in creating documentation for new technology deployment with customers. Stay updated on emerging electronic security technologies and industry-leading vendors. Qualifications
3-7 years of relevant industry experience. Associate or bachelors degree preferred; applicable experience may substitute educational requirements. Experience in designing and planning access control and video systems. Professional certifications or training in electronic security (Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, Axis, Bosch, Milestone, etc.) preferred. Company Overview
