Logistics Manager

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organize over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products, and do business. We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products, and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads. Additionally, we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets. We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Logistics Manager to join our South Florida Ventures team. In this role, you will partner closely with the SVP, Operations, Finance, and other Operations leadership, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of goods while maintaining safety standards and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management Implement and maintain inventory control systems Oversee storage optimization and inventory accuracy Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations Manage inventory tracking systems and documentation Optimize storage space utilization Operations Management Schedule warehouse staff for operations Implement process improvements for efficiency Oversee equipment maintenance and utilization Shipping and Receiving Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments Coordinate loading and unloading operations Ensure proper documentation of shipments Manage relationships with carriers and logistics partners Verify accuracy of shipped and received goods Safety and Compliance Develop and enforce safety protocols Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations Conduct safety training and meetings Maintain emergency response procedures Monitor equipment safety standards Cost Control Management Develop and manage warehouse budget Monitor labor costs Optimize resource utilization Implement cost-saving measures Track operational expenses Qualifications: Proven experience in warehouse management Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in warehouse management systems Knowledge of safety regulations Strong analytical and cost management skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Fluent in English and Spanish Performance Objectives: Maintain high inventory accuracy Reduce operational costs Improve warehouse productivity Ensure zero safety incidents Meet shipping and receiving targets Why work at Informa: We offer a rewarding, supportive, and enjoyable environment with benefits such as flexibility, community engagement, career development, time off, competitive benefits, wellbeing support, recognition programs, and international collaboration opportunities.
