This is a full-time, in-office position that requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for digital storytelling. The Social MediaCoordinatorwill play a key role in shaping our online presence, creating engaging content, managing campaigns, growing our digital audience, and building relationships with our community across multiple platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), YouTube, Discord, Reddit,Hoo.be, and TikTok. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and understands cannabis culture, social media trends, and digitalmarketingstrategies. Responsibilities Content Creation & Social Media Management Develop, schedule, and publish engaging, on-brandcontent across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), YouTube, Discord, Reddit,Hoo.be, and TikTok. Work closely with the creative team to produce high-quality graphics, videos, reels, and interactive media tailored to each platform. Monitor and leverage trending content, memes, and cultural moments to create timely and viral-worthy posts. Assist in user-generated content (UGC) strategies to enhance brand authenticity. Community Engagement & Growth Actively engage with followers, responding to direct messages, comments, and brand mentions in a timely, brand-appropriate manner. Monitor discussions on Discord and Reddit, engaging with the community and moderating conversations. Identify and collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and content creators to expand reach and engagement. Track and analyze performance metrics across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), YouTube, Discord, Reddit,Hoo.be, and TikTok, providing actionable insights. Prepare and present quarterly metric decksthat analyze social media performance, engagement trends, and content effectiveness. Assist in developing content calendars, campaign rollouts, and activations to align withmarketinggoals. Research industry trends, audience demographics, and competitor strategies to optimize engagement and growth. Event Coverage & Live Social Content Capture real-time content at brand activations, festivals, pop-ups, and in-store events to share across platforms. Work with the photo and video team to ensure high-quality event coverage. Utilize Instagram Live, TikTok Live, and YouTube Shorts to engage audiences during events. Qualifications Must be based in New York, and able to work in-office five days a week. One to three years of experience in social media management, digitalmarketing, or content creation. Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), YouTube, Discord, Reddit,Hoo.be, and TikTok algorithms, trends, and best practices. Experience in social media content creation, including short-form video editing (TikTok/Reels), static graphics, and engaging copywriting. Familiarity with content scheduling and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Metricool, Sprout Social, etc.). Ability to track performance and compile quarterly social media metric deckswith insights and recommendations. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other organizational tools. Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging captions and brand messaging. A self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Passion for cannabis culture, streetwear, music, and pop culture trends is a plus. Bachelors degree inMarketing, Communications, or a related field. Preferred Skills Experience with video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro). Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator). Prior experience in influencermarketingand brand collaborations.
