Description: Job Role: PostgreSQL DBA Technical Requirements: PostgreSQL database Administration, in-depth hands-on experience is a must. Good experience in PostgreSQL DBA activities. Strong experience in PostgreSQL Performance Tuning and Optimization. Hands-on experience with backup strategies and high availability in production databases. Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements in PostgreSQL. Strong experience in performance tuning on SQL queries. Experience in table partitioning. Strong experience with JOINS and Sub Queries. Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements, stored procedures, and functions. Proficient with common database procedures such as upgrades, patches, recovery, migration, and High Availability. Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases. Must have strong experience with PostgreSQL High Availability Solutions. Design and develop PostgreSQL systems, including statements, data modeling, tables, views, and indexes. Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases like PostgreSQL. Configure PostgreSQL database parameters appropriately. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in PostgreSQL Administration. Extensive experience in PostgreSQL SQL and PLSQL (PG/PLSQL) coding. Experience in converting ETL mappings from Oracle to PostgreSQL. Good analytical and problem-solving skills for designing, creating, and testing programs. Good communication skills to interact with team members, support personnel, and provide technical guidance to customers and management. Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members. Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
