Job Description:
The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, Department of Urology, seeks a full-time, American Board of Urology certified, eligible, or equivalent, general urologist on a mission track at the level of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The department sponsors an ACGME accredited urology residency program and an institutional GME approved advance fellowship program. Responsibilities include providing clinical and surgical critical care of urology patients, teaching, and research. The department boasts invaluable academic resources including a large patient base, clinical research manager, dedicated statistician, research associates, an active outcomes research group, access to research librarians, basic scientists, and a wet laboratory.
With more than 6,200 faculty and staff, UF Health in Jacksonville is the largest UF campus outside of Gainesville. UF Health physicians offer primary care and specialty services in practices throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, tallying more than 650,000 outpatient visits and more than 40,000 inpatient admissions annually.
