The LPN ensures that nursing staff and Lead Clinical Care Assistants (CCAs) adhere to established clinical standards, policies, and procedures. Additionally, the LPN acts as a safety and quality lead by performing audits, conducting safety walkthroughs, and providing performance evaluations to maintain the highest standards of care.Essential Job FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Clinical Leadership and Support: Collaborate with the RCN to oversee clinical performance, workflow efficiency, and compliance within assigned centers. Support staff accountability for clinical performance and workflow management. Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff and Lead CCAs. Act as a liaison between clinical staff and RCN, facilitating clear communication and problem-solving. Safety and Quality Assurance: Assist the RCN in conducting clinical audits, chart reviews, and quality control measures. Perform regular safety walkthroughs, hand hygiene assessments, and address any areas for improvement. Ensure all compliance regulations are met, including OSHA, infection control, HIPAA, and other state/federal requirements. Ensure all incident reports, safety concerns, and compliance issues are documented and addressed promptly. Staff Training and Development: Provide ongoing education, coaching, and competency evaluations for clinical staff. Conduct performance evaluations for Lead MAs and MAs and provide feedback and development plans when necessary. Ensure timely completion of mandatory training, certifications, and policy reviews by clinical staff. Operational Efficiency and Time Management: Monitor and optimize clinical workflows, staffing efficiency, and resource allocation across centers. Ensure timely completion and submission of all required reports, safety logs, and compliance checklists. Assist in scheduling and staffing to ensure proper coverage and efficient use of personnel. Collaboration and Communication: Act as a liaison between center staff, leadership, and the RCN to maintain open communication. Address staff concerns, conflicts, and operational challenges professionally and proactively. Provide feedback and updates to staff regarding expectations, policy changes, and other essential information. Performance Metrics and Expectations: Timely completion of audits, safety walkthroughs, and compliance reports. Maintain adherence to quality and patient safety standards across all centers. Effectively mentor and coach staff to improve clinical performance metrics and operational efficiency. Resolve compliance and safety concerns promptly. Foster a positive environment for staff satisfaction and engagement.QualificationsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position collaborates with the RCN to oversee clinical performance, workflow efficiency, and compliance within assigned centers, providing leadership and mentorship to nursing staff and Lead CCAs.Required EducationGraduate from an accredited school of Nursing.Required ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of nursing experience.Required Licenses and CertificationsActive LPN license in FloridaBLS Certification.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of clinical quality metrics, compliance standards, and patient safety protocols.Proficiency in conducting audits, safety inspections, and risk assessments.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple locations and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in using EMR systems, data reporting, and compliance tracking.Flexible schedule based on urgent clinical needs, audits, and leadership meetings.
