Exploration System Architect Program Manager (Project Management Staff IV)
to develop and manage the Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate (ESDMD) collaboration environment, supporting strategy and architecture integration. This full-time position is based in D.C. at NASA HQ, Greenbelt, MD at Goddard Space Flight Center, or El Segundo, CA, with a work model combining four onsite days and remote flexibility. Key Responsibilities:
Develop ESDMD collaboration environments aligned with user needs and programmatic requirements. Support program requirements and technical team needs with expertise. Lead technical coordination supporting ESDMD SAO integration across centers and programs. Facilitate accessibility for commercial and international partners to collaborative platforms, including JAXA, CSA, and ESA. Work with KSC development teams to ensure operational readiness. Maintain and ensure accuracy of ESDMD SAO collaborative environments as the main POC. Design and configure SharePoint solutions for document management, task tracking, and collaboration portals. Implement user-friendly interfaces and ensure ease of access for team members. Support inquiries related to SAO environments and develop policies aligned with NASA goals. Identify emerging technologies relevant to NASAs mission. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. 10+ years of professional engineering/scientific experience, including project/program management and data integration. Experience leading or coordinating technical teams. Proficiency in SharePoint architecture, Nintex workflow, web development languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, REST, HTML, CSS, JSON, SQL). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance. Preferred:
Masters degree or project management certification. Over 15 years of NASA program experience. Experience with NASA technology requirements development. Salary range: $106,000 - $160,500 annually.
