Software Development Engineer

What Youll Do Design and implement scalable, reliable backend services and APIs using Node.js, Go, or Python Architect data workflows and orchestrate complex backend logic using microservices Collaborate with frontend, ML, and product teams to bring new features to life Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and reliability Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes Own uptime and performance of backend systems in real-world environments Write well-documented, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code Troubleshoot, debug, and improve system stability across environments What Were Looking For 3+ years of professional experience in backend development Proficiency in at least one core language: Node.js , Go , or Python Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS , GCP , or Azure Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation Experience with PostgreSQL , MongoDB , or other SQL/NoSQL databases Comfort working in CI/CD environments and automating deployments Solid grasp of backend system design, security, and performance Strong debugging skills and a clean, maintainable coding style Bonus Points For Experience with observability tools like Prometheus , Grafana , or OpenTelemetry Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, Pulumi) Exposure to high-scale systems and distributed architecture Knowledge of security practices for APIs and backend systems Why Join Meibel?
