Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our leadership team. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality standards of care for Veterans/Members, and complying with regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, clinical knowledge, and a passion for high-quality patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage scheduled nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage and optimal resource utilization. Monitor and evaluate the quality and outcomes of critical nursing functions. Provide training, coaching, and oversight to ensure adherence to clinical standards and delivery of high-quality care. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and implement corrective actions when deficiencies are identified. Serve in leadership roles on internal committees and task forces as assigned. Participate in all aspects of Human Resources management including interviewing, hiring, performance evaluation, disciplinary action, and staff development. Respond appropriately to emergent situations, including allegations of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment, as well as incidents involving fire, police, or resident elopement. Maintain consistent, effective communication with the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Administrator; provide support across units and act on behalf of the DON in their absence. Actively participate in the AMS (Accountable Management System) process to promote operational excellence.Minimum Qualifications: Current active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of *** (must specify state). Must be able to obtain and retain an Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Fingerprint Clearance Card. Current negative TB skin test (Mantoux), dated within the last 12 months, or a physician-issued clearance for prior positive test results. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership nursing role preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance and nursing quality standards.Relocation:This position is open to out-of-state applicants who are willing to relocate at their own expense.
