Senior System Analyst
The Data and Analytics group within Services is seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to manage the Mastercard Performance (MyMPA) product. MyMPA is a system designed to provide comprehensive data on Mastercard, Maestro, and Cirrus brands. It includes various data dimensions such as QMR and Processed Data, Country and Regional Totals, and Issuing, Acquiring, and Cross Border data. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and subject matter experts to drive the growth of the product aligned with Mastercard's business goals and core values. Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Role: Makes use of research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to understand the platform and business needs for a platform product. Compares features for competitive review to inform prioritisation within a platform product release. Identifies innovations or performs test and learn experiments to create features that add more business and customer value for a platform product. Participates with the business in customer research to inform platform product feature needs. Contributes near-term input (quarterly) for the platform product portfolio and roadmap. Makes trade-off decisions on platform product features. Uses runtime metrics of their services in market as a feedback loop into the backlog and balances the priorities against new feature requests. Exhibits expertise within platform feature area and coordinates with interdependent teams. Digests business customer requirements (user stories, use cases) and platform requirements for a platform feature set. All About You: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required. Prior Business Analyst and Project Management experience required. Applies extended expertise of principles theories and concepts plus broad knowledge of business/function and development life cycle. Experience of 3-5 years on SQL and ability to frame complex SQLs. Hands on experience on Oracle & Hive/Impala/SPARK SQL. Good Understand on Hadoop Architecture & Distributed processing. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in financial analysis and planning. Self starter with good leadership abilities. Requires minimal supervision/assistance. Good business writing skills and effective presentations skills. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
