ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ensure that all HPSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met. Lead end-to-end SAP ECC to S/4HANA upgrade project , including scope definition, project planning, execution, and delivery. Partner with internal stakeholders, functional leads, and external implementation partners to align goals and timelines. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, cutover plans, and status reports. Coordinate fit-gap analyses and oversee business process reengineering as needed. Ensure data migration, integration, and testing efforts are executed efficiently and with quality controls. Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and steering committee meetings. Manage project budget, procurement of services, and vendor deliverables. Establish change management and training plans to ensure successful adoption of the new system. Serve as the point of escalation for project risks and issues, proactively resolving roadblocks. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success, post-implementation support, and stabilization. Ensure full compliance with company IT governance and security standards throughout the transition. COMPETENCIES:
Strong vendor and partner management experience, including System Integrators. Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and presentation skills coupled with strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities across different functional areas and cultures Decision Making/Problem Solving Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (MBA or PMP a plus). 5+ years of SAP project management experience , including at least
1 full-cycle S/4HANA migration or implementation . Deep understanding of SAP ECC (modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM) and the S/4HANA landscape. Demonstrated experience with
SAP Activate methodology
and tools (Solution Manager, SAP Best Practices). Familiarity with
data migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, LTMC)
and
testing tools
(HP ALM, Tricentis). SAP Certification (e.g., S/4HANA Project Manager, SAP Activate). Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies. Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., Rise with SAP). Background in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, or another relevant business domain.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

A range of motion sufficient to perform general lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, climbing, working at heights, extended walking or standing, etc. is required. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Duties performed in an office area environment within a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities will require routine fieldwork in the shipyard's fabrication shops, dry docks, and on-board vessels as part of the above activities. These heavy industrial settings may include; noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fume, and smoke, and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.

This is an on-site, full-time, safety-sensitive position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department, days and hours determined by department schedules.
