The Position: FanDuel Sports Network is looking for an experienced
Software Engineer
to add to our roster. Reporting to the Manager, Software Development this role will bring a strong background in C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework Core, with demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining Blazor Server applications. This role requires hands-on experience with Azure SQL, and deep familiarity with Azure DevOps tools including Repos, Work Items, YAML Pipelines, and Artifact Feeds. As a key member of our development team, you will contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-level solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
This position is, hybrid located in Southport, CT.
The Game Plan: (What you will do)
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Blazor Server applications using C#, .NET Core, and EF Core. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability. Design and maintain Azure SQL databases and ensure optimal data access strategies. Manage source control, branching strategies, and code reviews using Azure Repos. Plan and manage project tasks and progress through Azure DevOps Work Items. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML in Azure DevOps. Handle versioning and distribution of packages through Azure Artifact Feeds. Mentor junior developers and participate in technical leadership initiatives. Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to maximize development efficiency The Stats: (What to bring)
5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on C# and .NET Core. Proven expertise in Blazor Server application development. Solid experience with Entity Framework Core for data access and ORM. In-depth knowledge of Azure SQL: schema design, performance tuning, and advanced querying. Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, including: Repos for version control Work Items for backlog and sprint management YAML-based Pipelines for CI/CD Artifact Feeds for package management Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
