Clinical Support (LPN or CMA) HIMG - Oncology- (Full Time)

St. Mary's Medical Center seeks a full-time CMA or LPN to work in the HIMG - Oncology Department. The position will maintain a high quality of effectiveness and will provide assistance as necessary to co-workers and patients through an office oriented environment Candidates should anticipate a high volume of in-person and telephone interaction with patients, employees and co-workers. As such a pleasant personality is essential for this position.Applicants will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and positively represent the Hospital at all times.Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician.Answering phones & Making appointmentsGreeting & interacting with patients & customersInitial patient screeningsPulling and filing patient chartsTaking blood pressure & medical historiesAssisting doctorsCalling or faxing prescriptionsTo be considered, candidates must have their active Medical Assistant certification or active WV LPN License. BLS required.
