About The Role

THAT Agency is seeking an experienced and data-driven SEO Manager to lead organic search strategy and implementation across its client portfolio. This individual will take ownership of developing and executing SEO plans that align with business goals, oversee team workflows, and ensure clients' web properties are optimized for visibility, rankings, traffic, and conversions. This role involves working cross-functionally with account managers, content creators, developers, and marketing teams to deliver integrated and effective SEO campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, strategic, and collaborative, with deep knowledge of SEO best practices and a passion for performance marketing.

Responsibilities

Design and lead comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to client goals and KPIs Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and identify content gaps and opportunities Oversee on-page and off-page SEO, including link-building and internal linking strategies Perform and supervise technical SEO audits (site speed, schema, crawlability, indexing) Manage SEO-related workflows and task assignments across internal and external resources Review and approve deliverables such as keyword maps, content briefs, and optimization recommendations Set up and maintain SEO tools and platforms (GA4, GSC, GTM, Bing Webmaster Tools) Create and manage dashboards in Google Data Studio and Ahrefs for SEO performance tracking Present SEO performance reviews and strategic insights to stakeholders on a monthly and quarterly basis Collaborate with content, social, and email teams to ensure alignment of SEO with broader digital strategy Support campaign planning with organic search insights and recommendations

Qualifications

Essential:

4+ years of professional SEO experience, with 1+ years in a strategic or leadership role Proven success in driving organic growth across multiple client websites Proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and WordPress Strong communication and project management skills Experience managing or mentoring SEO/content contributors Solid understanding of how SEO integrates with content marketing and digital channels

Desirable

Experience in eCommerce or local SEO Familiarity with structured data and schema configuration Certifications in Google Analytics, Moz, or HubSpot Basic understanding of HTML/CSS Agency or multi-client experience
