Swope Health is seeking an engaging and mission-driven Family Medicine Residency Program Coordinator (FMPC) to help lead the administrative activities of Swope Health's Family Medicine Residency program. Reporting Directly to the Family Medicine Residency Program Director, The FMPC will manage and coordinate the administrative activities of the Family Medicine Residency Program ensuring medical students, and residents are properly organized, coordinated, oriented, monitored and evaluated by the physician medical staff. You play a vital role in preparing the next generation of physicians to provide the highest quality patient care. Primary Responsibilities:

Assist program leadership with teaching and learning priorities such as competency-based education, resident centered learning, and assessment of clinical faculty. Promote the development of teaching and learning practices in the clinical learning environment that ensure integration of graduate attributes and competency standards across the program. Serves as contact person for the interpretation and application of policies, procedures and program guidelines. Troubleshoot discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective actions to be taken. Collaborate in the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures and standards, and communicate associated changes. Identify and report compliance issues and assist in correcting situations resulting in duty hour violations. Maintain the residency curriculum, including competency-based goals and objectives for each assignment and each level of training. Identifies and establishes meaningful educational support relationships with residency, fellowship outreach and other training programs. Provide both administrative supervision and support to residents acting as a liaison between residents and leadership when necessary. Establish relationships and act as a liaison to other hospitals, internal departments, and divisions regarding resident recruitment, orientation, annual program affiliation agreements, and external rotations. Coordinates educational activities that support the program's curriculum and adhere to all educational requirements Participate in the preparation of accreditation materials, as well as internal review documents. Regularly communicate with the Program Director, as well concerning schedules, program requirements and evaluations, and other resident and faculty issues. Assist in program-level policy development and the development of the strategic planning of the residency program and monitor the budget for various residency activities Successful Candidates will have:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in teaching in a residency program preferred A passion for resident and student teaching and a commitment to caring for the urban, underserved patient population. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
