About the role
As the Inventory Manager you will manage the Inventory Management function, driving the team to provide a high-quality service to our customers and ensure we always maintains accurate Inventory levels.
Salary range:
$58k to $65k What youll be doing Plan, schedule, manage and execute cycle counts. Perform ad-hoc Inventory counts as required by the business demands. Production & control of count sheets to perform cycle counting. Manage and resolve issues with all equipment placed in warehouse quarantine status. Determine causes of inventory issues and implement solutions, including recommending commercial write off, inventory adjustments and ownership/stock code updates. Ensure Issues that cannot be resolved are escalated to management promptly. Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction. Evaluate current inventory management processes and recommend areas for improvements. Determine equipment, materials and manpower required to complete inventory management activities. Continually assess resource requirements. Assist in employee hiring, training, retention, performance evaluation and termination activities. Conduct employee training, performance reviews, coaching and counselling for direct reports.
What you have Experience using an ERP system with MRP & MPS capabilities. Experience with inventory optimization, stock room management. Able to meet the physical requirements of the usual and customary methods of performing the job functions, including: a variety of standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. Excellent listening skills. Strong analytical skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to create and implement effective processes & procedures. Strong Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel (e.g., Excel formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) and has skill in preparing tables, graphs, and charts. Must possess strong results and goal/deadline-oriented work ethic and a high attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to develop and bring to completion multiple assignments concurrently.
