This leadership role supports both staff development and patient safety while promoting operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.Job Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and leadership to nursing staff during assigned shifts.Coordinate staff assignments and ensure adequate staffing coverage across units.Serve as a resource for clinical decision-making, conflict resolution, and emergency response.Monitor adherence to nursing policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.Support staff onboarding, training, and ongoing competency development.Perform nursing assessments and interventions as needed in support of patient care.Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.Communicate effectively with physicians, department heads, and administrative personnel. Qualifications Active RN license in the state of practice.Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN) required; BSN preferred.Minimum 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience; supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of nursing best practices, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
