SPATIAL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Spatial Database Administrator will have senior-level professional knowledge and experience in developing, documenting, implementing, securing, and maintaining geospatial and alphanumeric data models and databases in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) in both on-premises and cloud environments.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Skills in Structured Query Language (SQL) and database procedural code such as T-SQL Expertise in managing and administering spatial data in geodatabases and associated editing workflows, including publishing and management of geospatial web service-based editing workflows using ArcGIS Enterprise, PostGRE/GIS, and Geoserver. Experience with database instance management, configuration, and disaster recovery for spatial and alphanumeric data. Willingness and ability to learn leveraging cloud data storage, processing, and analytics in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience with coding (e.g., SQL, Python, PowerShell) and tools for data migration (e.g., extract, transform, load tools, ArcGIS Data Interoperability, SQL Server Integration Services, open source tools). Experience with Azure SQL, AWS RDS, versioned editing, and open-source platforms. Experience with ArcGIS Online, ATO/STIG compliance, backup/recovery, and metadata documentation. Experience implementing STIGs, ATO documentation, and POAM input. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The candidate must have at least 4 years' experience with Enterprise Geodatabases on MS SQL Server and PostGre/GIS, including SQL Instance management, and at least 3 years' experience publishing geospatial web services using ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and open-source GIS Content Management Platforms.
