Python AI/ML Data Engineer

to join our team. In this role, you'll work on a range of projects involving data to support AI-powered solutions. You have an eye for detail and consistency. You have strong communication skills (listening, verbal, and written). You enjoy working in a collaborative environment. You are able to pass a background check for U.S. government security clearance. Were looking for a motivated individual who is eager to apply existing knowledge, learn new skills, and develop mastery in the following areas: Deploying and managing data pipeline orchestration tools such as Dagster. Developing ETL/ELT pipelines with data engineering technologies. Designing and maintaining high-performance databases. Participating in the development of applications using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies. Developing Python-based data analysis and transformation with Python libraries such as NumPy and pandas. Contributing to the development and consumption of RESTful APIs. Developing automated unit tests. Applying data security best practices. Applying problem-solving skills to analyze situations and identify potential issues. Preference will be given to candidates with the following: Prior academic or work experience related to the above topics. Exposure to cloud-based platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Basic understanding of networking and security concepts. Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Basic knowledge of web UI/UX design and development with JavaScript. Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
