Job Description
Required Qualifications: Six (6) or more years of experience as a systems and/or software architect, specifically in n-tiered architectures, web architectures, service-oriented architectures (SOA), and at least three (3) years of virtualization experience. At least two (2) years of experience with agile development methodologies (preferably SAFe), DevOps, Test Driven Development, and familiarity with agile project tools such as VersionOne. Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Build, and Continuous Deployment practices, using tools like Jenkins, Chef, Maven, and Nexus. Strong troubleshooting skills at the system level, with the ability to identify and resolve performance and scalability issues. Experience with cloud-based implementations and transitioning to the cloud. Experience with source code revision control systems such as GIT and SVN, and familiarity with MEAN stack technologies. Proficiency with tools and technologies including Websphere, RDBMS (Oracle, DB2), Java, SQL, Eclipse, RAD, Fortify, Junit, Selenium, Gulp, Jsdoc, Gerrit, Jslint, Karma, Jasmine, MySQL, and Node.js. Education Requirements: Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent, with 12 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelors Degree in the same fields with 14 years of relevant experience. Or an Associates Degree with 16 years of relevant experience. Desired Qualifications: Over three (3) years of experience in web-based technologies, object-oriented development, J2EE development, and best practices. Over three (3) years of experience in automation development and QA testing. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Visio, and SharePoint. Excellent team-building skills, including cross-functional team collaboration. Experience in documenting meeting minutes and conducting presentations or training sessions. Prior experience with Social Security Administration (SSA) disability projects.
