As our Director, Coding, you will help to ensure successful middle revenue cycle functionality through client management, medical coding operations, quality compliance, and process improvement. Every day you will support the coding team by managing the goals, objectives, strategic plans, and policies and procedures for the client. To thrive in this role, you must have an active coding certification, coding leadership experience, and the ability to partner with external stakeholders. Here's what you will experience working as a Coding Director: Ensure service level agreements are met by monitoring team performance, productivity, and quality targets and providing ongoing guidance, coaching, and support Conduct daily and weekly coding performance reviews to meet KPIs Address moderate to complex coding workflow issues, lead project plans for resolution, and escalate key performance barriers as needed Meet regularly with the client to report on coding performance and address any challenges Required Skills: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Coding Certification through AHIMA or AAPC: RHIA, RHIT or CCS accepted Medical coding experience in a healthcare setting including leadership experience in an acute-care coding management position where you held team meetings, provided ongoing coaching and feedback, and presented to executive leadership Ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare client-facing presentations Ability to use Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis For this US-based position, the base pay range is $115,000.00 - $167,640.70 per year. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
